Our practice

This is the privacy statement of our practice. In this statement we explain how we handle the personal data that we obtain through this website. Our processing operations fall under an exemption and are therefore not separately registered with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Our practice respects the privacy of all patients and users of its website and ensures that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially. We mainly use your data to make our services as smooth and easy as possible.

Personal data that we process

In certain cases, to use specific services on this website, you may be asked to enter some personal data.
We use this data for the following purposes:

  • practicing the profession in individual health care;
  • providing information and (electronically) answering your questions;
  • the (electronic) provision of repeat prescriptions;
  • calculating, recording and collecting the treatment fee (including transferring claims to third parties);
  • handling disputes;
  • conducting an audit;
  • conducting scientific or statistical research.
  • provision of data to third parties – such as health insurers – on the basis of legal or contractual obligations;

Finally, we record information regarding your visiting behavior (including the IP address used) for the purpose of researching possibilities for further optimization of and communication about our products and services, as well as for the security of our website.

Disclosure of personal data to third parties

The personal data will only be provided by us to:

  • those who are directly involved in the implementation of your treatment;
  • those who act as a replacement for the practitioner, insofar as the provision is necessary for the work to be performed in that context;
  • researchers (as referred to in Section 7:458 of the Dutch Civil Code);
  • health insurers, insofar as the provision of data is necessary due to the obligations under the insurance contract;
  • third parties charged with collecting claims, insofar as the provision of data is necessary for this and does not concern medical data;
    others, if:
  • you have given your unambiguous consent to the data processing, or
  • the data processing is necessary for the fulfillment of a legal obligation by the individual healthcare professional, or
  • the data processing is necessary due to a vital interest of you (for example an urgent medical necessity).
